Nai Zou Born in Ivory Coast, Africa joined the national Ballet of Ivory coast at the age of 13 and traveled many countries. In 1991 he left the national ballet and joined Kiyi m'Bock Performing Arts Company. Ki-yi m'Bock Ensemble is the biggest performing arts company in the Ivory coast. While there Nai Zou learned to drum, model, sing, act and produce video clips. With Ki-yi m'Bock Nai Zou performed for large groups of people four days a week from 1991 to 1999. He produced his first video clip in 1998 which has since been known as the best in the country. Nai Zou also traveled to Senegal, Mali, Canada, Burkina, Cameroon, Niger, Johannesberg, South Africa, Japan, France and many other places. In addition, he worked with the national ballet of France in 1995.
Nai Zou was chosen out of over 300 people from a large casting call by Ralph Lemmon. Ralph Lemon traveled to Africa from France to find people for his show called (show graphic). In 1997 Nai Zou joined with Ralph lemon's Dance and Creativity Company. He came to the United States for the first time in 1997 with Ralph Lemon and toured the states. In 1999 he came back and stayed in the U.S. Since being in the U.S., Nai Zou has worked with many children, teaching them how to dance, drum and sing. He produced his first play in 2001 called Ensemble Mystique. He worked with Nu World Art Ensemble and Sankofa Dance Theater for many years. Nai Zou started his own company in 2000 and has owned it now for close to 10 years. In 2008 he had a casting call and Na Zu and Company took 21 Americans to the Ivory Coast to perform a play called "Celebration" where they stayed for 2 weeks. He has served as the Secretary of Culture for the Ivory Coast Association here in US. He was also invited by CanAfric to Mississauga, Canada to perform in a National Dance and Drum festival in August 2009. Nai Zou now has a fitness class that is becoming very popular called "African Dance Movement and Body Fitness".
